Faith-Based Therapy

My faith inspires me to do this work.  Some people want to engage in therapy from a spiritual perspective.  While I never impose my beliefs onto another person, for those whose relationship with Creator forms an important part of their life, I am happy to bring the spiritual into therapy.

2.

Individual
Psychotherapy

Individuals come to therapy for a wide range of reasons.  We all have areas of our life that need healing. You are the expert on your life and I bring my training and experience.  Working together, we will help you make changes in your life that will help you in your journey of becoming the person you are meant to be.

3.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma, whether a single event or a series of events, often has a significant impact on a person beyond when the traumatic experience is over.  Post-traumatic stress can lead to a number of challenges in areas related to safety, power/control, trust, esteem and intimacy. But healing is possible.  By re-processing how trauma has impacted you, while learning new tools for dealing with difficult emotions, you can make the trauma a memory, putting it in the past rather than an event that you are re-living over and over.

Therapy Sessions

If you are at this site through a church connection or referral, please contact me via email/text/phone here.

If you are not connected to a church, I would be happy to connect with you through my collaboration with The Centre For Psychology and Emotion Regulation.  Please visit our website here and our receptionist will be happy to set up an appointment with me or another therapist.

My Approach

As a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, with Master’s level training and education, plus twenty years of experience in helping professions, I feel prepared to come alongside you as you work to reorient your life in a more healthy direction and grow in harmony with others.

About me

Although I was born and raised in the Philippines and have extensive cross-cultural experience, my wife and I have firmly rooted our family in this community for the past 15 years.  Two Master's Degrees and an emphasis on Indigenous Studies have helped equip me to do this work with a wide range of people.
